It varies from person to person depending on the degree/ stage of baldness and the expected hair density.
How many grafts can be implanted in 1 session of Hair-ART?
We have no such limit although patient safety is our highest priority at SB Trichology. Generally, it is considered safe to transplant upto 4000 grafts in 1 session.
Is it necessary to shave the head before hair transplant?
It is not necessary, but it provides better visibility and access for the surgeon to ensure minimal graft damage during extraction and implantation. However, especially in case of females, our hair transplant surgeons do perform the surgery without shaving the head.
Why is P-R-P performed along with hair transplant?
P-R-P or Growth Factor Therapy ensures that the newly implanted grafts get the required nutrients for maximum growth.
What are the side effects of hair transplant?
